The story of the beginning of Kaike Onsen
Kaike Onsen was founded in 1900 when a fisherman went underwater.
It all started when I discovered a hot spring that gushes out.
White sand and green pine coastline
Our hot spring resort is located in Mt. Daisen, the highest national park in the Chugoku region, and has an excellent location.
Kaike Onsen is written as “everyone lives.”
It is said that long ago, souls that floated away from Inasa Beach in Izumo in the form of bubbles washed up on the shore, where they were all reborn with new bodies and minds (resurrected = return from the land of hell).
Because of this, the area came to be called “Kaike”.
There is a legend.
Although it is a hot spring area with a relatively short history,
The inn district covers an area of 1,000 meters from east to west and 400 meters from north to south, with 40 tourist inns, hotels, and public inns.
It is the largest hot spring resort in the San’in area, with a capacity of 5,000 people.
Kaike Onsen’s spring quality is a sodium/calcium chloride spring, and boasts an abundant amount of water flowing out at 4,400 liters per minute.
There are 19 sources.
The temperature of the source is as high as 64 degrees, and its main effects are for neuralgia,
These include rheumatism, chronic skin diseases, and chronic women’s diseases.
In recent years, the effects of salt have attracted attention, and Kaike Onsen’s “salt bath” has also become popular.
It is attracting attention not only for its health benefits but also for its beauty effects.
A relaxing open-air bath to soothe the fatigue of your travels.
While soaking in the hot water, the gentle breeze caresses your skin and gently wraps your warm body.
You can enjoy free time that you can't experience in everyday life.
